Whole wheat cheela is healthy breakfast which can be made easily and instantly at home with my recipe.
1) WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR - 1 CUP 2) ONION - 2 chopped 3) CURD - 1/2 cup 4) CORIANDER LEAVES - 1/2 cup chopped 5) SALT - To taste 6) TUR MERIC POWDER - 1/2 tsp 7) CHAAT MASALA - 1 tsp 8) GREEN CHILLY - 2 chopped 9) OIL - As needed
Take a big bowl and add whole wheat flour, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, curd, turmeric powder, green chilly, chaat masala, salt to tast and 1 cup of water, Mix them well. Add more 3/4 cup of water and prepare batter with thick flowing consistency. Close lid and keep it to set for 1 hour. Check after 1 hour . Batter is ready now. For making cheela, put a tawa on gas with high flame. Add 1 tsp oil . With help of serving spoon, pour batter over pan and spread it to make round. Keep gas flame to medium. Add 1 tsp oil at edges . When cheela is changing color from top then flip it to other side. Fry till it become light golden brown brown in color from both sides. Add 1 tsp of oil at edges and fry well. Check for other side and if it is light golden brown in color then it is ready. Take it out in a plate. Fry rest of cheelas in same way. Fold them and serve in a plate with Tomato sauce and enjoy delicious taste.
