ढाबे जैसी उरद की दाल बनाये | Urad Dal tadka Dhaba Style | Mah ki dal recipe
1) UDAD DAAL - 1 CUP 2) CORIANDER LEAVES - 1/4 CUP Chopped 3) CREAME - 1/4 CUP 4) RED CHILLY POWDER - 1/2 TSP 5) TURMERIC POWDER - 1/3 TSP 6) SALT TO TASTE 7) CORIANDER SEEDS - 1 TSP 8) CORIANDER POWDER - 1/2 TSP 9) KITCHEN KING MASALA - 1/2 TSP 10) TOMAT
Add Udad dal in cooker . Add 2 cup of water and 1 tsp of salt. 'Close lid and boil it for 1 whistle. Then bring down gas to low flame and cook for 5-7 minutes. Turn off gas. Take mixer jar and add chopped tomato, ginger, green chilly , garlic. Grind them in mixer to make paste. Put a pan on gas with high flame and add coriander seeds. Roast it for 2 minutes. Take it out in a plate. Add 3 tbsp of ghee in same pan . When ghee is hot, bring down gas flame to low. Add Dry red chilly, Jeera, asafeatida and onion. Mix them well. Close lid and cook for 2 minutes. When onion is transparent, add tomato paste , turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder and salt to taste ( As need for gravy only ) . Mix well. Close lid and cook for 5-7 minutes. Coarsely grind coriander seeds in khalwata. Check gravy after 5 minutes. If it is cooked properly then add boiled Udad dal into it. Add 1 cup of boiled water and mix well. Add kitchen king masala, garam masala, coarsely grinded coriander seeds and mix well. Add 2 tbsp of creame. Mix well. Turn off gas . Transfer it to serving bowl. Put tadaka pan on gas with high flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee. When ghee is hot, turn off gas. Add red chilly powder . Pout immediately over dal. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
