Ingredients: 
1) CHANA DAL - 1 CUP 2) SUGAR - 1/2 CUP 3) JEGGERY - 1/2 CUP FINELY CHOPPED 4) CARDAMOM - 5-6 POWDER 5) GHEE - AS NEEDED 6) WHEAT FLOUR - 2 CUP 7) PINCH OF SALT
Directions: 
Take a pressure cooker and add soaked chana dal . Cook it on gas till 3 whistle. Turn off gas and let it cool down. Take a bowl and add wheat flour, salt and ghee and mix them properly. Keep adding little water and kneed it to form smooth dough like roti dough. 3/4 cup of water is needed here. Keep aside by putting cover on it for 20 min so that it is set properly. When cooker is cooled down, open lid and filter chana dal through sieve. so that excess water is removed. put a pan on gas and add chana dal . Smash it with smasher to make smooth paste. After that turn on gas at medium flame. Add sugar, jaggery and ghee . Mix them properly. Keep stirring till it become thick and darker in colour. When mixture start separating from pan then turn off gas. Add cardamom powder and mix them well. Take out in a plate and let it cool down. After 20 minutes, dough should be set, hence check for it. Add 1 tbsp oil into dough and kneed it properly make it smooth. Make 10 equal parts and roll it in hand to make peda shape. Mixture is cooled down now. Make 10 equal parts from it to use as stuffing. Take one peda over rolling board and dust it with wheat flour. Roll it to make little bigger round than puri size. Put stuffing at center. Fold edges by taking to center and press little. Cut small excess part there. Press little to spread it. Now again dust it with wheat flour and roll it slowly to make it round shape puran poli of around 10 inch size. Prepare all puran poli in same way. Put a pan on gas with high flame. When pan is hot, put purn poli over it and bring down gas to medium flame. Fry it till it become golden brown in colour at both sides. Keep flipping and add ghee on both sides. When it is golden brown in colour , it is ready. Take it out in a plate and fry rest of all puran polies. Enjoy mouth watering puran poli..!!
