Baked Oats Gujiya
healthy version of gunjiya made from whole wheat and oats .
for dough - Whole wheat 1cup Oats powdered 1/2 cup Pure ghee 2.5 tablespoons Salt a pinch Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon. Water to knead a soft but tight dough
for filling - Mawa 1/2 cup, roast it dry on low flame till pink. Suji 1 tablespoon roasted Desicated coconut 1/4 cup Pista,almond,cashew and melon seeds 2 tablespoons each... Grind them all Shakar 1/2 cup Elaichi powder 1/2 tsp
FOR Dough Mix ghee,salt and baking powder to both the flours. The ghee should be enough so that when you pinch the dough together in your palm it stays together like a Mutthi. Slowly add water and make a soft tight dough. Cover with a damp cloth. Leave it for 30 mts. Combine all the ingredients of filling together. Add shakar elaichi after the roasted ingredients are well cooled. Make small balls.Keep them covered with a damp cloth. Roll the balls . Place it an oiled gujiya maker . Add filling to it. Press it well and remove. Keep them covered till you bake them. Brush them well with oil on both the sides Bake them at 200 C for 12--15 mts. Broil them for the last 2---3 minutes . Cool and serve.
