Bread Raita (Yogurt with bread )

Hello Friends, today I am sharing a yummy Bread raita recipe with you all. This raita is very easy to make and can be served as a side dish for all types of dinner and lunch.

Ingredients: 
Plain thick Yogurt – 2 cups
Bread – 2 slices
Roasted Cumin powder – ½ teaspoon
Red Chilli powder – ¼ teaspoon
Onion (chopped) - 1/2
Tomato (chopped) - 1
Coriander leaves chopped
Green chillies, thinly sliced – 1-2
Vegetable oil – 1-2 tablespoon
Sugar - 1½ teaspoon
Salt to taste
Directions: 
Slice the ends of the bread.
Cut them into desired shapes. I have cut them into cubes.
Take a pan, add the oil, fry the bread cubes till they become golden brown and crisp. Keep aside.
In a mixing bowl, take a thick yogurt. Add the sugar, salt, roasted cumin powder, green chillies, red chilli powder, chopped onions and tomato and coriander leaves. Mix them well.
Keep this yogurt mixture in refrigerator.
Just before serving the raita add the bread cubes.
Garnish with cumin, red chilli powder and coriander leaves.
Footnotes: 
Adding the bread before, will make the bread crumble in the raita.
