Chandi Wale Moong (spicy And Flavoured Green Lentil Served With Condensed Milk Dumplings)

Moong is what I prefer any time. My mum created this rich creamy textured dish which became one of my favourite and so is really close to my heart!

Ingredients: 
1/2 cup Moong ( Green Lentil)
1 tsp Red chilli powder
Salt to taste
3 tsp Ginger chopped
One cup water
2 tsp chopped Green chilli
1/2 tsp Daal chini powder (Cinnamon Powder)
1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
1/2 cup sliced fried Onion
1 tbs Butter
1/2 cup fresh Cream
3 tsp lemon juice
1 cup Khoya (Condensed Milk)
1/4 cup Maida (All Purpose Flour)
1 Tbs chopped badam (Almonds)
1 tbs finely chopped pista (Pistachio)
1 tbs Ghee
1/2 tsp Jeera (Cumin seeds)
Oil to deep fry
Directions: 
In a pan take Moong, water, Red chilli powder,salt and 2 tsp chopped ginger. Cook well till done.
When moong is cooked add in 1 tsp of ginger, chopped green chilli ,dalchini powder, cardamom powder, sliced fried onion and mix well.
Add in butter and cream. Cover and cook on low flame . Stir in lemon juice!
For Chandi balls: in a bowl take khoya, maida, chopped badam and chopped pista. Mix into smooth dough and make small balls of it! Heat oil in pan and deep fry golden brown. Cover these balls with silver verk and keep aside!
For tadka: Heat ghee in a pan, add in jeera as it splutters pour this tadka onto hot moong!
Place Chandi balls into moong and garnish with sliced fried onion ! Serve hot.

Instead of lemon you can add in amchur pwd.
