Dahi Chicken Curry
Chicken cooked in yogurt imparts a unique flavour to the curry.This gravy can be served with plain white rice, biriyani or pulao or with any chappati.

Chicken - 1 kg
Yogurt/curd - 1 cup
Tomato puree - 100gm
Onion paste-100 gm
Ginger Paste-150 gm
Red chili powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Black pepper powder - 1/4 tablespoon
Garam masala powder - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tablespoon
Oil - 7 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Water as required
Wash and Marinate the chicken with all the dry spices powders for 2-3 hrs. ( half of chilly powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and pepper powder).
Take fry pan add 4 tablespoon of oil to it . heat it , then pour the marinated chicken to it and cook it till it become golden brown.take them out
Now take another pan add oil to it , heat it and add onion ,ginger, tomato,red chili powder, pepper,garam masala, turmeric powder, salt and mix it well,wait till the cooking mixture start releasing oil.
Then mix the whipped curd to the mixture and chicken. Pour about 1 cup of water and cover it and cook it for 5-10 min. your dish is ready to be served.
Mix the curd evenly and quick.
