Gobhi ke pakore (cauliflower pakore)
Winter seaon is a season of fresh vegetables like gobhi, matar, gajar, beans….Indians love fresh vegetables and the variety of vegetarian recipes that they can make. Gobhi ke pakore is a side dish recipe suitable for evening tea.
Gobhi (Cauliflower) 150 grams
Green coriander leaves 1 bunch
Soya patta (fresh dill leaves) 1 bunch
Green chillies 2-3 (chopped)
Green garlic leaves 2 tablespoon(chopped)
Besan (gramflour) 2 cups
Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon
Ajwain (Aniseed) ¼ tablespoon
Salt 1 tablespoon
Mustard oil 5-6 tablespoon
Blanch the gobhi in hot water for about 5-6 mintues and then chop it.
Take a bowl and mix besan, salt, turmeric ans water to make a smooth batter. Then add gobhi, green coriander leaves, soya patta, green chillies and mix well.
Heat oil in a karahi and put small portions of the batter with hand or with a spoon. Deep fry till it turns golden brown. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
