Healthy Oats Breakfast - A Weight Loss Recipe

Oats are good source of fiber and are nutritionally rich. Mostly considered tasteless, oats can consumed much beyond a porridge. Here is a simple healthy oats breakfast recipe of oats pancakes. These pancakes are colourful, low calorie and are as nutritious as well as innovative.

Ingredients: 
Oats - 1 cup
Semolina - 1/2 cup
Curd - 1/2 cup
Chopped Vegetables (Carrot, beans, capsicums, onions) - 1 cup
Fresh chopped coriander leaves - 2 tsps
Salt, Red chilly powder - As per taste
Mustard oil - 1 tsp
Directions: 
1. Coarsely grind oats in mixer grinder to form oats flour. 2. Prepare a batter of grounded oats, semolina, curd and water to make dosa like batter. Rest for 15-20 min. 3. Add all vegetables and spices in batter and mix well. If the batter becomes too thick, add little more water. 4. Heat non-stick pan or tawa and grease with few drops of oil. Pour ladder full of batter and spread with back of ladder to form mini pancakes. Cook the pancakes on medium flame till crisp from both the sides. 5. Serve oats pancakes with coconut chutney, coriander chutney or even ketchup.
