How To Make Khandvi | Khandvi Recipe | Snack Recipe | Breakfast Recipe
Khandvi is very tasty snack which can be made quickly at home.
It is very popular Gujarati snack and made from besan.
You can make it easily at your home with my recipe.
Ingridents: Besan: 1/2 cup Buttermilk: 3/2 cup Salt: 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric : 1/4 tsp Sarsoo dana (Rai) : 1 tsp Coconut powder: 1 tsp Green chillies: 2 Ginger : small Curry leaves Corriander leaves : 2 tsp Oil: 1tsp
Take a bowl and add besan, salt, turmeric powder, and add little buttermilk. Mix it well till batter becomes smooth. Add remaining buttermilk in batter and mix it again till no lumps are left in it. take a non stick pan on stove and add the batter in it. Put the gas on and stir the batter on high flame for 2 min. Now, put the gas on medium flame and stir the batter for 5 min. The batter will become thick. To check whether the batter is ready or not, take some batter on spoon and spread it on greased platform. Try to peal it with a knife. If it pulls out easily then our batter is ready. if batter is ready then spread the batter on greased platform. ( NOTE : perform this step as soon as possible. If batter will cool down, then we won't be able to cut it in stripes). Now, the stripes when the batter cools down and roll it to make khandvi. Take out all rolls in a plate. Take a tadka pan, add oil and put it on stove. When oil is heated, add rai, neem leaves and pinch of hing. When rai crackles turn off the gas and pour the oil over khandvi. Gournish khandvi with coconut powder and coriander leaves. Our delicious khandvi is ready. !!!
