Idli Podi Recipe || Chutney Powder Preparation || Side Dish For Idli and Dosa
Sun Dry all the ingredients ( Except salt and asafoetida ) for a while before preparing dish.
Urad Dal (Black Gram) - 100g
Chana Dal (Bengal Gram) - 50g
Curry Leaves - As Required
Salt - As Required
Jeera (Cumin) - 1Tsp
Black Pepper - 1Tsp
Asafoetida - 1/2 Tsp
Dry Roast Urad Dal, Chana Dal, Red Chilies, Curry Leaves, Cumin Seeds, Black Pepper and allow it to cool for sometime.
Add required amount of salt and asafoetida to the roasted ingredients and grind it as a coarse powder.
Store it in an air tight container.
