This dish can be eaten as a starter.
250 gms Mutton mince (Keema)
2 tea spoons Ginger Garlic paste
1/4 cup soaked Chana Dal
1/4 cup boiled corn seeds
1 tsp Garam masala
2 Green Chillies finely chopped
1 tsp turmeric and Red chili powder
1 Egg (beaten)
Salt to taste
Marinate the Kheema with Ginger garlic paste, garam masala for 15 minutes.
Heat some oil in a pan, add Haldi, green chillies and put marinated kheema and stir well. Put 1/2 cup of water. Cover the pan with a lid and keep it for 5 minutes on a medium flame. after 5 minutes add soaked chana dal, boiled sweet corn, red chilli powder, salt to taste and mix it well. Again cover the pan with the lid & cook it for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes check if kheema is cooked well. Cook until the keema becomes dry. You do not need to cook it too much. Put the flame off. Keep the mixture aside and let it come down to the room temperature.
Grind the mixture. do not add water.
Make lemon size balls, press them gently on your palms. Coat the cutlet in beaten egg and shallow fry.
Serve it with Pudina ( Mint) Chutney or Sauce.
Tastes best when serve hot.
