Methi Ladoos

Come winters and Methi Ladoos have been moms ( Mrs. Simha Tobias Aaron's) favourite recipe. Eaten one a day with a glass of milk preferably in the morning - Good for bones and post baby's delivery.
Easy to make and tasty to eat.

Ingredients: 
500 gms Methi Powder
100 gms Bathisa
250 gms Dink
125 gms Sounth
500 gms Pounded Patrisakar
500 gms Jagery- Kolhapuri
150 gms Singada powder
500 gms Medium Rava
20 gms Cardamon
400 gms Cashewnuts
400 gms Kismiss
100 gms Badam
1 Tablespoon Elachi powder
1 Kg Ghee
All the above ingredients can be found at a local Kirani vendor.
Directions: 
Roast Rava with 2 tablespoons Ghee till very light brown. Remove in a big Thala.
In the same vessel add 2 Tablespoons Ghee and mix Sounth in it. Stir well and pour over the Rava. Keep Mixing.
Again in the same vessel add 2 Tablespoons Ghee and Singada powder. Sir well, pour the mixture over into the Thala. Keep Mixing.
Again in the same vessel add 2 Tablespoons Gheee and add Bathisa. Stir well, pour the mixture over into the Thala. Keep Mixing.
Again in the same vessel add 2 Tablespoons Gheee and add Grounded Dried Fruits. Mix well and pour over the Mixture in the Thala. Keep Mixing.
Grind the Dink and in the same vessel add 2 Tablespoons Gheee and add Grounded Dink. Mix well and pour over the Mixture in the Thala. Keep Mixing.
Let the above mixture cool in the Thala.
Continue with Jaggery and 2 Tablespoons Gheee in the vessel. Add Elachi powder and keep mixing till bubbles appear.
Now Add Methi powder to the mixture in the vessel and keep Stirring rigorously (Make Sure No Lumps Are Formed) add more Ghee if required.
Pour this mixture over the Earlier Mixture in the thala and add Pounded Sugar.
Mix well and Start Making the Ladoos. This is the testing time --Hot Mixture on your Palms.... But, when Done...........Gauranteed You WILL LOVE IT!!!
Surprised????? Its not as Bitter as It sounds. LOVED BY ALL AGES!!!
This Recipe Makes 140 Medium Sized ladoos and takes about 2 hours . But, I suggest you take Half the Quantity of All Ingredients to Start With.
