Paneer Do Pyaza
Paneer – 2 Cup (diced)
Onion – 1 (sliced)
Onion – 1 (diced and saute in 1tbsp oil until translucent)
Tomato Puree – ¼ Cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
Cumin Seed – ½ tsp
Green Cardamoms – 2 (crushed)
Ginger & Garlic Paste – ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
Red Chili Powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Kasoori Methi – ½ tsp (Dry roasted and coarsely crushed)
Fresh Cream – 1/5 Cup
Garam Masala Powder – ½ tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Cashews – 5 to 7 (cut into half and dry roasted)
Fresh coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, green cardamoms, ginger & garlic paste. Saute it for a minute.
Now add sliced onions and saute it until they turn golden. Now add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, kasoori methi and cook it until oil starts separating.
Then add diced paneer, garam masala powder, coriander powder, fresh cream and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add diced onions (which is sauted in 1tbsp oil until translucent) and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
Garnish with the cashews and serve hot with roti or naan.
