Paneer Tikka Masala
Paneer – 200 gm (cut into cubes)
Green Bell Pepper – ½ (cut into cubes)
Onions – 1 (cut into cubes) + 2 (finely chopped)
Tomatoes – 1 (cut into cubes) + 2 (finely chopped)
Hung Yogurt – ½ Cup
Green Chillies – 2 Slit
Oil - as required
Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp + ½ tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – ½ tsp + ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
Kasoori Methi – 1/2 tsp + ½ tsp
Ginger & Garlic Paste – 2 tsp + 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
Fresh Coriander Leaves – Few (chopped|)
Salt – to taste
In a bowl, add yogurt, 1 tsp red chili powder, 2 tsp ginger & garlic paste, salt, ½ tsp kasoori methi, 1 tbsp lemon juice, ½ tsp garam masala powder and 2 tbsp oil and whisk well.
Add green bell pepper, onions, tomatoes in the yogurt mixture. Mix well and now add paneer. Mix gently and keep aside for an hour.
Heat 2 tsp oil in a grill pan, add marinated paneer, green bell pepper, onion, tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes on both sides.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, chopped onions and saute it for 5-7 minutes. Now add 1 tsp ginger & garlic paste. Saute it for a minute.
Now add chopped tomatoes and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add ½ tsp red chili powder, green chilies, coriander powder, ½ tsp kasoori methi, turmeric powder and salt and ¼ cup water. Mix well and cook for 2 more minutes
Add skewered veggies in the masala. Mix gently and cook for 2-3 minutes
Garnish with the chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
