Easy Recipe for beginners
Onion - 1
Green Peas - 1/2 cup
Dried Green Chili - 1-2
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves few
Chana Dal- 1 tabsp
Urad Dal - 1tbsp
Mustard Seeds- 1/2 tbsp
Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Tomato - 1/2
Ragi semiya - 1 Packet
Soak Ragi Semiya In water along with salt for 3 mins.
Drain water from ragi semiya after 3 mins.
Here we are using electric rice cooker so make the cooker ready for steaming, grease some oil in the steaming tray and steam ragi semiya for 5 mins.
After 5mins take away the ragi semiya from the tray and allow it to cool.
Mean while take a pan and heat some oil in it. Add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, chilies and add sliced onions and saute it well.
when onions are cooked well, add chopped tomatoes and salt in it.
Now add ragi semiya in this mixture and saute it for a minute. Then squeeze lemon in it ( Completely Optional ).
Ragi Semiya is ready now.
