Sagoo and Oats kheer ( Sago and Oats Pudding)


It is my super healthy and full of nutrition dessert recipe. It is sweetened with Dates instead of sugar and garnished with lots of dry fruits. Lip smacking delicious and quick to cook.

Ingredients: 
Milk - 2cup
Sago (Sabodana) - 1/2 cup
Oats -1/2 cup
Dates (deseeded)- 1cup
Dry fruits-as per taste
Directions: 
Soak sago in sufficient water for 1 hour.
Coarsely grind Oats.
Boil milk in a saucepan. Add soaked sago and Oats.
Keep stirring and cook till sago pearls becomes translucent.
Add coarsely ground dates and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot or chilled garnished with dry fruits.
Footnotes: 
Use heavy pan for cooking this dish.
