Sambharam/morum Vellam (buttermilk As A Drink)

It is most commonly used by the people of Kerala as a thirst quencher during the hot summer .It is very easy and simple to make. Even my three year old daughter can make it. It can also be served along with rice.

Morum vellam/Buttermilk
Ingredients: 
Buttermilk or moru -1/2 litre
Water -2 glassful
Ginger, crushed -a small piece
Curry leaves-2 sprig
Green chilli -4nos sliced
Salt -as per your requirement
Directions: 
Gently crush the ginger and curry leaves.
Add water to the buttermilk so as to adjust the sour taste of the buttermilk.
Add salt to taste.
Cut the green chilly vertically into two pieces. Then cut it horizontally into 3. Thus we will get around six small pieces from one chilli.
Mix all the ingredients in a vessel and stir well.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Footnotes: 
It is very healthy and tasty drink during the hot summers.
The water can be replaced by soda.
You can also use lemon leaves or all spices leaves to taste.
