Suji - 1 cup Curd - 1/2 cup Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup chopped Ginger - 1 small Green chilly - 2 Salt - To taste Oil - To fry Jeera - 1/4 tsp Baking soda - 1/5 tsp
Take a bowl and add Suji, curd, coriander leaves, salt, ginger-green chilly paste, jeera. Mix them well. Add little water - 1 to 1.5 tbsp and make thick paste . Keep a side for 20 minutes so that suji is set properly. After 20 minutes, add baking soda into it and mix well. Take small amount of mixture in greased hand with oil and make small ball by rolling it in between palms. Press little to make tikki shape and make hole in center with help of finger.( Keep finger wet with water). Prepare vadas in same way. Put a pan on gas with high flame and add oil. When oil is hot add 2 vadas into it and fry them properly by keep flipping in all sides. When they form golden brown colour take them out and transfer to serving plate. Fry rest of vadas in same process. Enjoy delicious crispy Suji Vada with Green chutney / Chana dal chuteny / Coconut Chutney etc.!
