Modak is a sweet prasad which usually make in Ganesh Chaturthi Festival. Here I will show you two different types of flavours of Modak...Rose & Chocolate..Which are very delicious in taste..and easy to make in 10 minutes.

Very Easy

Milk powder - 2 cup
milk - 1/2 cup
sugar - 1/2 cup
ghee - 6 tbsp
cardamom- 4 powder
rose petals - 1/2 chopped
coco powder- 2 tbsp
vanilla extracts - 1 tsp
Put a pan on gas with high flame and add 1 tbsp ghee. When ghee is hot, bring down gas to low flame and add rose petals. Roast them till they become littler darker. By roasting rose petals, raw flvaour is removed and adds nice fragrance and taste to Modak. Now take them out in a plate. Turn off gas now. Now add ghee in same pan, milk and milk powder and mix them well with help of bitter so that no lumps are left over in it. Turn on gas on low flame. Roast them with stirring for 2 min. When mixture become thick then add sugar and mix them well. Ensure sugar is melted properly into it. Turn off gas now. Transfer half quantity of mawa to rose petals plate . Add cardamom powder and mix them well. Let it cool down to room temperature. When it is cooled, with help of modal making mould , make modal by filling mixture into it with light pressure and open. Prepare all modak in same way. Put pan with rest of mixture on gas with low flame. Add coco powder, milk vanilla eztracts and mix them well for 2 min. Turn of gas now. Let it cool down to room temperature. After that kneed it lightly . Use mould to make modak shape by filling mixture into it by pressing lightly. Prepare all modaks in mould. Sever in serving plate and celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi Festival with these delicious sweet.!!! Your kids will love this taste.
