Aloo Bread Pakora
Boiled Potatoes – 2 (peeled and mashed)
Green Chillies – 2 (finely chopped)
Fresh Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (chopped)
Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
Coriander Powder – ½ tsp
Garam Masala – ½ tsp
Amchur Powder – ¾ tsp
Bread Slices – 6
Cumin Seeds – ½ tsp
Ginger & Garlic Paste – ½ tsp
Oil – 1 1/2 tbsp (for stuffing)
Turmeric Powder – 1/3 tsp
Oil - to deep fry
For Batter : Gram Flour – 1 ½ cup, Red Chilli Powder – ¼ tsp, Salt – to taste
For Stuffing - Heat a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to crackle. Now add ginger & garlic paste, green chillies, turmeric powder, mashed potatoes, garam masala, coriander powder, amchur powder, salt, red chilli powder and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and cook it for 2-3 mins.
For Batter – In a bowl, add gram flour, salt, red chilli powder and mix it. Now add water to make a thick and smooth paste.
For Bread Pakora – Heat oil in a kadhai. Spread a portion of potato mixture on a bread slice and cover it with the another bread slice and press gently. Divide it into two portions (triangles) with the help of a knife. Now dip it into the batter and deep fry it till it turns golden brown.
Serve hot with ketchup or chutney
