Aloo-phool Kopir Tarkari (cauliflower Curry)
Cauliflower curry is one of the most popular dishes among Bengalis' during winter.
Potato(cut into cubes)- 1/2Kg
Tomato- 2 big
Ginger paste+cumin paste+chilli paste- 5tablesp
Mustard Oil- 100ml
Dry red chilli- 2-3pcs
cumin seed- 1tsp
Bay leaf- 2nos
Salt & sugar- To taste
Water- as per requirement
Turmeric powder- 1/2tsp
Garam masala- 1tsp
Red Chilli powder- 1tsp
In a pan heat the oil, then add cumin seeds,bay leaves and red chillies.
Then fry the cauliflower till it becomes brown.
Now,add turmeric,ginger+cumin+chilli paste and cook for sometime.
Then add salt,sugar and chopped tomatoes and continue cooking.
When oil starts releasing from the sides, add half cup of water and put a lid.
When the potatoes and cauliflower is cooked,turn of the oven and serve hot with Luchi(puri).
