Amsatta (dried mango pulp) -100 grams
Khajur (dates) – 100 gram
Tomato – 200 gram
Tamarind pulp – 50 gram
Cherry – ½ bowl.
Salt – ¼ tablespoon
Sugar – 150 grams
Red chilli powder – ½ tablespoon
Cumin powder – ½ tablespoon
2-3 cups of water.
Refined oil – 1 tablespoon.
Cut tomatoes into pieces and keep aside. Cut amsatta into squares and de seed the khajur, chop it into pieces.
Heat oil in a karahi and put the tomatoes. Fry for few seconds and then add the tamarind pulp, amsatta, khejur, red chili powder, cumin powder and salt. Cook on low heat till the tomatoes turn tender.
Add water and sugar and cook till the semi thick consistency is reached. Finally add the cherries and serve.
