Bachhi Hui Dal Ke Parathe (parathe From Leftover Dal)

Dal is part of daily menu in most of Indian household but no one likes to have leftover dal. This recipe has evolved to utilize the leftover dal as well as give a nutritious option than plain chapatti or paratha.

Ingredients: 
Leftover dal 1 bowl
Galic 3-4 cloves (finely chopped)
Green chili 1 piece (finely chopped)
Mustard oil 1 tablespoon
Atta (wheat flour) 1 nad 1/2 cup
Refined oil / ghee 2 tablespoon
Directions: 
Put a pan or karahi over the gas and pour the mustard oil. One the oil is heated up put garlic and chilli. As they start popping and the garlic turns light brown pour the leftover dal. Fry the dal over high flame till the water evaporates and we get dry dal Puran (stuffing).
In another bowl take the atta and water and make dough.
Take small balls from the dough and stuff it up with the dal and flatten it by chowka and belan. Put a tawa over the stove and cook both sides of the paratha by applying refined oil or Ghee. Serve with chutney or any side dish.
