Badam Pista Ghari (almond And Pistachio Stuffed Sweet Balls)#diwalireceipecontest

Ghari is a traditional sweet of southern part of Gujarat. It is loaded with lots of Desi ghee and stuffed with a mixture of Badam, Pista and Khoya. We relish it thoroughly during Diwali and many other festivals.

1 cup coarsely grinded Badam (Almond)and Pista( Pistachio)
1 cup Khova( Condensed milk)
1/2 cup powder Sugar
1/2 tspn Cardomom powder
1 cup Desi ghee
Few Kesar strands
1 cup Maida ( All purpose flour)
1/4 cup Milk
In a bowl add Maida, 1 tspn Ghee and Water and make a soft dough.
In a pan add 2 tspn Ghee , add Khoya and stir for about 2 minutes.
Turn off the flame and add dry fruits, sugar, cardomom and kesar and mix well.
Now make 10 equal sized balls from dough.
Roll them in small puri and stuff with the mixture and seal them properly.
Deep fry these dumplings in ghee on medium flame.
In a bowl add 1/2 cup sugar to 1/3 cup ghee and mix it thoroughly.
Now coat each ghari with ghee and garnish with some dry fruits.
