Bandgobhi Saag (dry Cabbage With Onion)
Cabbage is highly good for health,It is full of vitamin K and Vitamin C that help with mental function and concentration. Helps keep blood pressure from getting high.This saag is a very good combination of taste and health and very easy to make.
Cabbage - 1 medium size (finely chopped)
Onion - 3 medium size (finely chopped)
Green Chillies - 3 (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Raai (mustard seeds) - 1 tsp
Jeera (cumin seeds) - 1 tsp
Hing (asafortida) - 1/2 tsp
Few curry leaves
Few chopped Coriander Leaves.
Finely chopped tomatoes - 2
In a pan heat oil and add Raai, jeera, hing, curry leaves, Green chillies and onions.Cook onions tillit turns golden brown. Add tomatoes and mix.
Now add cabbage, salt , haldi, Coriander powder, Garam Masala and Mix well.Cover and Cook for 10 mins on medium flame.
When cooked remove from flame, add coriander leaves.
Serve with chapatis.
Wash the cabbage thoroughly with water before use.
