Beetachi Burfi ( Beetroot Sweet Dish)

A unique recipe that tastes amazing. I made this recipe as an experiment and also took inspiration of a similar recipe I read in a magazine. My son loves this dish. Its easy, nutritious and full of flavor

Beetroot 1 (Boiled and grated)
Sugar 1/2 Bowl
Milk 1 Bowl
Elaichi Powder 1 pinch
Dry Fruits ( As much as you like)
Combine grated beetroot and sugar in a pan and switch on the gas. Stir occasionally till the sugar dissolves.As soon as it reaches Brafi like consistency, switch off the gas.
Add Elachi Powder and Dry fruits.
Mix it well.
Take a greased plate and pour the mixture. Flatten the mixture by a ladlle and then with the help of a knife draw sraight or slanting lines and cut square Barfi.
Garnish with some more dry fruits before serving.
