Bhindi Aloo Sabji
Bhindi and Aloo sabji is a very light preparation and can be had anytime of the day. Goes best with roti.
Bhindi (lady's finger) - 250 grams - chopped in small pices
Aloo (Potato) - 2 nos. - cut lengthwise
Onion - 1 no - Sliced finely
Oil - 1 table spoon
Turmeric - 1/4 tablespoon
Salt - 1/2 tablespoon
In a wok, pour oil and heat. Add onions and sauté.
Add salt and turmeric and sauté again for 2 minutes
Add potatoes and mix. Let cook.
When potatoes are half cooked, add the lady's fingers and let cook stirring in between to avoid burning.
If the potatoes or vegetable start sticking to the wok, sprinkle some water.
Salt and turmeric may be adjusted as per taste
May add jeera(cumin) powder for taste
