Bhindi Aur Pyaaz
Most of kids love Bhindi and this recipe is best for healthy tiffin. This special bhindi was prepared by my mother when I was a child.
Lady's Finger-250 gms
Onion 2 large- finely chopped
Cumin seeds -1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 1 teaspoon
Red Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 teaspoon
Wash the lady's finger and then wipe with soft kitchen towel before cutting.
Cut the lady's Finger in small cubes.
Heat the oil in a pan and saute finely chopped onion. When it turns a little soft, add cumin seeds, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
As the onion is light golden, add lady's finger and saute till it is soft and well cooked.
As we saute the lady's finger do not cover with the plate or any lid it will loose its green colour.
Lady's finger must be wiped with dry kitchen towel to avoid water in the vegetable it will spoil its flavor if it is wet .
