Bhindi Fry / Bendakaya Vepudu

Bhindi Fry is an easy recipe where the Bhindi or Okra is fried with ginger garlic and other spices.

Ingredients: 
2-3 cups Bhindi (okra chopped lengthwise)
2 tspGinger Garlic Paste
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
2 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste
Directions: 
Heat oil in a pan or kadai. Add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin power and coriander powder. Sauté for a minute on low flame. Add bhindi or okra to the mixture and mix well. Cook on medium flame for 5-10 minutes. Keep sautéing for every 2-3 minutes. Once the okra is not stick in consistency, add salt and cook for another 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and serve hot with roti, Paratha or rice.
