Leftover Biscuit & Aloo Tikki Recipe

With two kids and a big family, we tend to buy large packets of snacks and biscuits. Many a times the biscuits tend to become soggy over time and also need to discard them. Finally, I have created this recipe that gives my soggy biscuits a great new taste and my kids love it...

Ingredients:
Soggy left over Biscuit crumbs: 1 cup
Aloo boiled : 2
Garlic paste: 1 tsp
Garam masala or any curry masala 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Grated Paneer 1/4 cup (optional)
Besan 1 Tbsp
oil for deep frying
Directions:
In a bowl mash the boiled potatoes
Add all ingredients except oil
Please add salt cautiously cause the biscuits will also have some salt content
Mix all ingredients well and knead the mixture together like a smooth dough
Form small round balls and flatten them slightly to give that tikki shape
Heat oil for deep frying
Slowly fry the tikkis two at a time
Fry on both sides for 30 secs each
It doesn't not need a lot of cooking as the ingredients used cook fast
Footnotes:
Note, do not use biscuits with cream. In case you have cream biscuits left, scrap remove the cream and use only the biscuit portion
You may feel that some sweet biscuits may not go well, but with the masala and garlic the flavours get balanced out and the tikkis taste quite nice
