Cauliflower Vada (kerala Style Cauliflower Pakodas)

A large varieties of dishes can be made using Cauliflower such as Gobi manchurian, Chilli Gobi etc. Cauliflower Pakodas is a tea-time snack and is made in a slightly different way compared to other Pakodas. This is crispy and tastes extremely good that everyone at home from kids to oldies will like this.

Ingredients: 
Cauliflower- 1
Onion- 1
Capsicum- 1
Ginger and garlic- 2 tbsp
Maida (all purpose flour) -1 cup
Egg- 1
Red chilli powder- 1 tbsp
Baking powder- 1 tsp
Salt- as needed
Water- as needed
Coconut oil- as needed
Directions: 
Cut the cauliflower into tiny florets
Chop the onion and capsicum into small pieces
Boil water in a vessel. When the water starts boiling, add cauliflower florets and salt and cook for 5-10 minutes
When cooled, grind the florets in a food processor
Mix together the all purpose flour, red chilli powder and egg in a bowl
Add the cauliflower paste, chopped onion and capsicum to it and mix all the ingredients using hand
Heat coconut oil in a pan
When the oil gets heated well, take a handful of mixture and drop into the oil as small balls
When one side turns golden brown in colour, flip the vada to the other side and fry well
When both sides are fried well, remove it from oil and spread to a paper towel
Serve hot with chilli or tomato sauce
