Chicken pasanda is a non-vegetarian side dish recipe. Chicken is cooked with spices and curd and thus has a rich creamy gravy. Serve it with Naan or paratha
Chicken 250 grams (9 ounce)
Onion 1 ( chopped)
Green chilli 2-3 (sliced)
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
Cumin powder 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder 1/2 tablespoon
Black pepper powder 1/2 tablespoon
Salt 1 tablespoon
Curd ½ cup
Refined oil 4-5 tablespoon
chopped coriander leaves 1 tablespoon
Marinate the chicken with 2 tablespoon of curd and keep it for 10 mintues.
Heat refined oil fry the onions till they turn light brown. ( for quick fry put ½ tablespoon of sugar).
Add Marinated chicken and sauté for 5 mintues.
Then add ginger – garlic paste, red chilli powder and cumin powder, salt and curd and cook on low flame. Put the lid on. It will take around 20 mintues.
Afterwards check if the chicken has become tender. Once chicken is done add coriander leaves and black pepper powder. Serve with Naan.
