Daliya Pulao (broken Wheat Pulao)
I have started experimenting with alternative grains quite recently for my daughter who hates rotis and rice. This is a recipe I tried after she took to masala oats. I have made it a bit watery for her sake. And I have avoided ginger, garlic, chili powder for her sake. Ideally I would have loved adding peas too, but she hates peas. The best part about this recipe is it can be made in so many avatars. A slight tweaking and this pulao can become a biriyani, upma, bisibele bath and any variety rice. Add any veggies you like and pressure cooking makes it easy to cook and soft too.
