Potatoes: 4 pcs
Dhana 3 Tbsp
Jeera 1.5 Tbsp
Dry Red Chillies 2 pcs
Salt to taste
Oil 2 tablespoon
Heat a pan and dry roast dhana and jeera for 2 mins on low heat
You will know they are well roasted when they start releasing their aromas
Remove and keep aside
Now in the same pan, dry roast red chillies for about a min
Now using a grinder or mortar and pestle grind the two masalas and chillies to a fine powder.
It may be slightly coarse if you prefer
Boil potatoes, peel and cut into cubes
In a pan heat oil, add the potatoes mix for a min
Add the ground masala and salt to taste
Cook for 2 mins more turn off the heat and serve with hot chapattis
You may use the potatoes raw and cook in the pan itself, but boiling potatoes saves time
