Green Peas Pulav

This recipe is a very innovative idea by me.
I have just created a variation of the green peas pulav
It is simple and very tasty

Zeenat Hasta's Secret Indian Recipe !

Half kg basmati rice
200 gms green peas
100 gms oil or ghee
3 medium size onions
1 teaspoon garlic paste
2 tablespoon curd
1 tetra pack of coconut milk
2 to 3 pieces of cloves, pepper, cinnamon, bay leaves & cumin
1 or 2 teaspoon of salt (as per taste)
Half onion sliced
Wash the rice and keep aside
Chop the onions into thin slices and keep aside
Fry the half sliced onion till golden brown and keep it aside
In a vessel add oil or ghee, all the spices & garlic paste
Now add the chopped onions and saute till it becomes soft
Add the green peas and salt and saute it for 5 mins
Add the curd and saute for more 5 mins
Now add the rice and the coconut milk and mix to bring evenness
Let it cook on medium heat for 15 to 20 mins
Turn off the heat and garnish it with the golden brown onion
Serve it hot
