500 Gms Paneer
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Green Chili Paste
Green Peppers
1 Bunch Green Coriander
1 Bunch Spring Onion Greens
Few leaves of Spinach
Oil for cooking (About 5 tbsp)
Jeera 1 tsp
Soft Butter 1 Tea spoonful
Cream 3 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Water as required
Lemon Juice 1 tsp
Cream to Garnish
Onion paste of 2 Onions
Green Tomato chopped 1
Garam Masala 1 tsp
Dhana Jeera Powder 1 tsp
Marinate the paneer cubes with 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic chili paste and set aside
Chop green peppers roughly and blanch them in hot water for 10 mins
Blanch Spinch leaves in same water for 1 quick min
In a blender, blend spinach leaves, capsium, coriander, spring onion greens to a smooth paste. Use water as required
In a pot, heat oil, saute paneer cubes till slighlty pink on all sides and remove on paper
To the remaining oil add onion paste and cook till it turns pink, add salt and dhana jeera powder and mix
Add remaining ginger garlic green chili paste followed by green tomato
Mix well and cook till tomato softens
Add the green blended pure, adjust salt, add sugar and stir
Cover and cook for 5 mins on low heat ot till the masala reduces a bit and cooks throughly
Garam Masala and mix well followed by marinated paneer
Add Butter , cover and cook for 3 mins more on medium heat
Check if the masala and paneer have cooked well. Turn off the heat and add crea from top
Give it a quick mix and serve hot with Chapattis
You may also add, Pudina to the greens. This is a great recipe to make your kids eat greens
