Gajapriya's Secret Indian Recipe !

Health mix flour/sathumavu- 2 cups
Clarified butter- 2 tbsp
Chilly powder- 1 tsp (or according to ur taste)
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Salt -to taste
Water -as needed
Oil -for deep frying
For salsa:
Red ripe tomatoes-2 medium sized chopped
Onion-1/2 cup chopped
Green chilly/jalapeno pepper -1 chopped
Garlic - 1 clove
Lemon juice -1 tbsp
Oilve oil-2 tbsp
Coriander leaves-4 tbsp
Salt -to taste
Take a bowl and add health mix flour, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder. Add clarified butter and mix with your hand or spoon. Then add water little by little to make soft dough (don't make too soft as it will absorb too much oil if it is very soft)
The dough should be little firm than chapathi dough.
Heat oil in a pan, meanwhile take small portion from the dough flatten like a chapathi. Now cut small squares or desired shape from it & keep aside.
You cannot flatten whole dough at once as it is not that much elastic like normal chapathi flour so make medium size balls from the dough.
Now deep fry the pieces when oil is heated.Turn the pieces slowly without breaking. fry till cook well on medium flame.
Once it turns golden brown put transfer on the tissue paper to strain excess oil.
For making salsa, add tomatoes, onion, green chilly/jalapenos, garlic, coriander leaves in a blender and crush them coarsely. don't crush them to smooth texture
Transfer this into a bowl add salt, lemon juice, olive oil and mix well.Now serve the chips with salsa.
