How To Make Adrak Wali Chai - Ginger Masala Tea

Adrak Wali Chai is a famous Indian drink that is made in every Indian household twice a day. Adrak wali chai is also served to guests and is the main choice of drink on every occasion. This amazing sweet and milky chai is flavored with crushed Ginger (Adrak) and Tea Masala. Ginger and Tea Masala helps to make the Chai very Aromatic and pleasant. 1 cup water
1 cup milk (skimmed or full fat)
1 1/2 tbsp. Indian tea leaves
1/2 tbsp. brown sugar (or any sugar you have available)
1 inch of ginger crushed
1/4 tsp Tea Masala
1. Heat a sauce pan add water and milk
2. Boil the mixture for 3 - 4 minutes on high flame. Boiling the mixture helps get rid of raw smell of the milk
3. Add Tea Leaves (Chai Patti). Mix this really well before adding other ingredients. Boil for 2 minutes
4. Add Crushed Ginger
5. Add Brown sugar ( or any sugar you have available)
6. Boil the tea for 2 more minutes.
7. Lastly add the Tea Masala and Boil for 2 mintues again
8. Adrak Wali Chai is Ready to Serve. Serve Hot with Khari or any tea time snack of your choice
