Iron Rich Gongura Pachadi Recipe || Gongura Pickle || Pulicha Keerai Masial
Just try this recipe in your home.
Garlic - 5 clove
Red Chillies - 10 to 15
Mustard seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Urad Dal - 1/2 Tsp
Gingelly Oil - 50ml
Gongura leaves - 1 Bunch
Asafoetida - 1 Pinch
Tamarind - Little
Sesame seeds - 1 Tsp
Coriander seeds - 1 Tsp
Salt - As required
Wash gongura leaves and spread it in a clean cloth. Allow it to dry for few minutes.
Heat pan and add oil in it.Add red chillies, garlic, coriander seeds, urad dal, sesame seeds and saute it for a while.Switch off the stove and allow these things to cool for a while.
Add oil in a pan and add gongura leaves. Saute it untill leaves become pulpy. Now mix everything along with tamarind in a mixer jar.
Finally add tempering. Heat pan and add oil, mustard seeds and asafoetida. Pour this in the gongura mixture.
