Paneer (Cottage cheese) 150 grams (5.5 ounce cut in 1 inch square)
Onion 100 grams (3.5 ounce, finely chopped)
Tomatoes 100 grams (3.5 ounce, finely chopped)
Capsicum 1 piece (chopped)
Bay leaves 2 pieces
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
Red chilli powder 1 tablespoon
Cumin powder 1 tablespoon
Black pepper powder ½ tablespoon
Sabzi masala ½ tablespoon
Garam masala powder ½ tablespoon
Salt ½ tablespoon
Refined oil 5 tablespoon
First put a pan or kadhai on the gas stove and pour the refined oil. Once oil is heated add the bay leaves followed by onions.
Fry the onions for two mintues and then add the tomatoes. Fry till they become soft.
Afterwards add the ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder and sabzi masala and fry till the masala leaves the oil.
Add the capsicum, salt, paneer, garam masala and ½ cup of water and cover the kadahi with a lid. Cook on low flame for ten mintues. Kadhai paneer is ready. Serve it with Chappati or Paratha.
