Paneer (Cottage cheese) 200 grams (7 ounce cut in 1 inch square)
Kaju (cashew paste) 50 grams (2 ounce)
Posta (poppy seed paste ) 1 tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
Green chillies 2-3 halved
Salt 1 tablespoon
Sugar ½ tablespoon
Refined oil 5 tablespoon
First put a pan or kadhai on the gas stove and pour the refined oil. Once oil is heated add the paneer and sauté for a mintue. Take it out and keep separately.
In the remaining oil add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 1-2 mintues.
Then add cashew paste. poppy seed paste and green chillies and fry till the masala leaves the oil
Finally add ½ cup of water, sugar, salt and paneer and cover the karahi with a lid. Cook on low flame for 10 mintues. Kaju paneer is ready. Serve it with Chappati or Paratha.
