Papaya 400 gram
Daal 250 gram
Water 1 ltr
Salt as you need
Small onion 10 nos
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Green chilly 2 nos
Chilly powder 1 teaspoon
Oil 3 teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Cook papaya with salt and turmeric powder in enough water
Cook daal with salt and greenchilly in enough water
Papaya and daal must be pressed with a spoon to make it pasty
Put a pan on the stove
When it is heated pour oil
Allow the oil to get heated
Add chopped onion
Add curry leaves
Switch off the stove and add chilly powder
Combine papaya and daal together
Pour the sauted onion to papaya daal combination and stir well
Serve it hot
i some time replace pumpkin over papaya
