In kerala almost all houses there is papaya tree.With papaya delicious thoran can be prepared in low cost.It is very nutritious and good for health.Papayas are loaded with papain,a digestive enzyme which helps soothe stomachs and will kill intestinal worms.You will get glowing skin if you add papaya in your diet

Ingredients: 
Sliced papaya 250 gram
Small onion 4 nos
Green chilly 4 nos
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Mustard seeds i teaspoon
Grated coconut 2 cup
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Water 1/2 cup
Salt as you need
Cumin 1/4 teaspoon
Oil 1 teaspoon
Dried red chilly 2 nos
Garlic 2 slice
Directions: 
Put a pan with water on the stove
Allow it to boil
When it is boiled add sliced papaya ,salt and turmeric powder
Cook it for 8 minutes
Coarsely grind coconut,green chilly,small onion,cumin,curryleaves,garlic and turmeric powder
Put a frying pan on the stove and heat it
Add oil when it is heated add mustard seeds
Allow it to splutter
Add dried red chilly
After that add grinded coconut stir it gently for 6 minutes in low flame
Add salt and cooked papaya stir it gently
When the water content in it is evaporated it is ready to serve
