Keerai Poriyal (spinach Fry)

Keerai Poriyal is a traditional South Indian recipe. Spinach/Keerai is the healthiest vegetable and has a high nutritional value. This is an easy recipe, which goes well with Rice especially. So you can try and prepare this at home regularly and live healthy.

Spinach Fry
Ingredients: 
Spinach - 1 bunch
Small Onion - 100 gram
Garlic - 4 pieces
Red Chilli - 1
Coconut - 1/2 cup (Small Pieces)
Oil - 3 teaspoon
Salt for taste
Directions: 
In a pan/kadai heat oil and add onion, saute till it get light brown colour.
Add garlic and red chilli. Saute for 1-2 minutes.
Now add spinach and salt for taste. Saute for 5-7 minutes.
Once spinach is ready, add coconut, mix well and leave for a second.
Then switch off the stove and serve it in a plate.
Footnotes: 
It would be fine even if you could add coconut as a paste rather than by using it in small pieces.
