Kesar Badam Kheer( Saffron And Almond Kheer)
Kheer is a rice based sweet dish recipe in India. Here is a special kesar badam kheer.
Milk – 500 ml
Rice – 3 tablespoon
Kesar (saffron) –few strands (submerged in 1 tablespoon of milk)
Badam (Almond) – 6-7 pieces
Sugar – 4 tablespoon
Cardamom – 1 piece
Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in some water for 30 mintues. Similarly soak almonds for 30 mintues, take their peel off and slice them.
Boil milk with ½ cup of water in a wide container.
Add rice, almonds and cardamom and let it cook on low heat till the milk is reduced to 1/3.
Now add sugar and saffron and cook for 1-2 mintues. Your Kesar badam kheer is ready. Keep it in refrigerator and serve chilled.
You can preserve it for a week in refrigerator
