Lagsunposto Wali Bhindi (ladiesfinger In Garlic And Poppy Paste)
As the name suggests, it is a vegetarian side dish recipe wherein Bhindi is cooked with garlic and poppy seed paste. It is a dry recipe and is suitable for tiffin or whenever you are travelling.
Bhindi (ladies finger or okra) – 200 grams
Potato – 2 pieces
Garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
Poppy seed paste – 1 tablespoon
Red chilli paste – ½ tablespoon
Turmeric paste – ½ tablespoon
Oil – 4 tablespoon
Salt – ½ tablespoon
Cut potatoes and bhindi in 1 inch size and keep aside.
Heat oil in a karahi and put the potatoes. Fry the potatoes till they turn light brown.
Add the bhindi and continue frying for 1 mintue.
Add the garlic paste, poppy seed paste, turmeric and red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Put a lid on and cook on low heat for 9-10 mintues till the vegetables and the masala is done. Take it off from the fire and serve hot with puri.
