Lasnicha Tikhat (garlic Chutney- Dry)
A famous Maharashtrian dry chutney.
1 Full head Garlic
2 Cups Dried coconut grated
2 Tbsp chili Powder
Salt to taste
Roast the dry grated coconut in a pan (without oil) till golden brown. Let it cool
In a mixer blend Coconut, garlic cloves, chili powder and salt to a fine powder. (it usually remains a bit coarse which is fine)
Your Lasnicha tikhat is ready! Store in air tight container for 10 to 15 days. Can be stored for about 20-23 days if refrigerated.
Serve it as a side dish with any meal. Tastes great with Dal chawal or Varan bhaat
