Mango Kulfi (mango Flavored Milk Ice Cream)

Kulfi is a dessert recipe from India. The basic ingredient is milk to which various fruit and nuts are added to bring different taste and flavor. You can have sitaphal kulfi, keasr kulfi, cashew kulfi and many more. Here is a recipe of summer special mango kulfi.

Mango – 2 pieces
Milkmaid / condensed milk – ½ bowl
Mango essence – 4-5 drops
Milk – 500 ml
Sugar – ¼ cup
Mango syrup – 2 tablespoon
Peel the mango and take out the pulp. Puree the pulp and keep aside.
Pour milk in a wide pan and boil it till it is reduced to half.
Add sugar, mango puree and milk maid and cook for a minute and then take it off from the gas.
Now add mango essence and pour it in kulfi moulds. Keep in deep fridge and let it solidify for an hour.
Before serving remove the kulfi from the mould. Pour some mango syrup and serve immediately.
You Can add some small mango cubes in the kulfi if you want to
