Marwari Lahsun Ki Chutney (marwari Garlic Chutney)

Marwari dishes are well known for their spiciness that arouses the taste buds. Being married into a Marwari family, I am learning numerous Marwari dishes and today I will be sharing the recipe of a side dish, Lahsun Ki Chutney. This chutney is mostly made during winters as it heats up the body and is generally accompanied with Bajre Ki Roti. The Marwari style Lahsun Ki Chutney is a great dish to spice up your platter.

Garlic Cloves - 6 to 8
Tomato - 1/2
Red Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
Roasted Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
In grinder, grind garlic cloves and tomato without adding water.
In a pan, heat 2 tsp oil and add the garlic tomato paste.
Add red chili powder, roasted cumin powder and coriander powder.
Let the mixture leave oil from the sides.
Add salt to taste and remove from flame.
Marwari Lahsun Ki Chutney can be stored for up to 7 days in a refrigerator.
